Combining speed, exploration, and unique mechanics with a deeply character-driven narrative, the game takes players through impossible worlds shaped by surreal events, telling a story about relationships, memories, and a world that was never meant to exist.

Following the events of Sonic CD, a wish born from hope and a fleeting moment of affection gave rise to an impossible timeline: DVD.Now, as reality begins to fracture and the multiverse collapses upon itself, Tempo Spiral, the ancient guardian of time, has delivered a final verdict: in order to save countless worlds, the existence of DVD must come to an end.Faced with a truth capable of erasing everything they know, Sonic and his friends must decide whether to accept their disappearance for the sake of reality... or fight for their right to exist.
